A group of Sylhet students formed a human chain in front of the central Shaheed Minar at the city's Chouhata under the banner 'We are against oppression'. At that time, they protested against forcing teachers to resign by humiliating and humiliating them in various educational institutions of the country.

Speakers in the human chain on Sunday afternoon said that educational institutions are being destroyed by doing these things.

Nahid Hasan, a student of Sylhet's Leading University, conducted the marginal human chain.

Syed Monir Helal, president of the Democratic Lawyers' Association, Sylhet said, oppression is coming down on our fatherly and motherly teachers. This is clearly unfair and undesirable. We strongly protest against it. After these incidents there were various conflicts and provocations. We do not want educational institutions to be destroyed. But by doing these things we are destroying the educational institution.

Sylhet International University teacher Pranab Kanti Dev said, if any teacher is a criminal, or has committed misdeeds with party identity, action should be taken against him according to the existing law. It is by no means desirable to be forcibly assaulted in this manner.

General Secretary of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Sylhet Roshan Ara Mukul, Coordinator of Aggrieved Citizens Movement Abdul Karim Kim, Lawyer Bidyut Kumar Das Bapan, Assistant General Secretary of IMZA Sylhet Nabil Hossain, former student of MC College Sagar Das, Narottam Das also spoke in the human chain.

Cultural organizer Shamsul Basit Shero, lawyer Arup Shyam Bappi, journalist Rajeev Russell, former president of Nagarnat Ujjal Chakraborty, lawyer Vishwapa Bhattacharya, former president of Bandhu Sabha Sylhet Humaira Zakia Putul, current and former students of various educational institutions and people from various classes and professions were present.

Incidentally, after the fall of the Awami League government and the coming to power of the interim government, from primary schools to universities, teachers were pressured to resign, physically assaulted, which is widely criticized.
