The heat continued throughout the month of April. Rain can bring relief to people's life which is miserable in intense heat. Expected rain will have to wait, but not for long.
Meteorologist Abdur Rahman Khan said in a briefing at the directorate on Wednesday, “The temperature is likely to drop in many places from Thursday.” Isolated rain will start in Mymensingh Division, Sylhet Division, Dhaka Division and Comilla Region on Thursday However, the temperature in the north-western and western districts of the country will remain the same till Friday.
He also said, 'Jesore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Rajshahi will rain after a couple of days. After 3/4 it will rain all over the country But the discomfort will remain due to water vapor. Still will come to tolerance.'
This meteorologist said that after 5/6 days of rain, the temperature of the country will increase again.
When asked how the temperature of the country will be on Wednesday, he said, 'In those areas (Jesore, Chuadanga) the temperature may be the same as yesterday.'
Very intense heat waves are now blowing over Jessore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Pabna, Rajshahi, Bagerhat and Satkhira. Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Narayanganj, Naogaon, Sirajganj, Dinajpur and rest of Khulna divisions are experiencing intense heat waves. And mild to moderate heat waves are blowing over other parts of the country.
In the forecast for the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department has said that there may be temporary gusts of wind or rain with thunder in two places of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Along with that, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places.
