What BNP said after the meeting with the High Commissioner of Pakistan

High Commissioner of Pakistan Syed Ahmad Maruf held a meeting with BNP. He came to meet BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's office in Gulshan at around 11 o'clock on Friday.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was also present there. Others included the party's standing committee and international affairs member Ameer Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and suspended party member Shama Obaid.

After the meeting, Amir Khosru Mahmud said that the two countries can work together in some areas in the coming days and the possibilities that exist between the two countries were discussed. There is going to be a level playing field for businesses that wasn't there before. Bangladesh lags behind in business integration in South Asia. It has been discussed.
