Who is the convener of the National Citizens Committee, Nasiruddin?

Muhammad Nasiruddin Patwari is the convener, Akhtar Hossain is the member secretary and Samantha Sharmin is the spokesperson. This national civic committee was formed by the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement.

The announcement of this committee was made from the central Shaheed Minar on Sunday (September 8) afternoon. Muhammad Nasiruddin Patwari, the former leader of the Dhaka University branch of the Bangladesh Students Federation, has been appointed as the convener of this committee.

In the last 2019 Dhaka University Student Council (DACSU) election, Nasiruddin was the social service secretary candidate from the student federation panel. This former student of Dhaka University later joined the AB Party on September 20, 2022.

It is also known that Muhammad Nasiruddin Patwari joined AB Party on September 20, 2022. They were received through a ceremony at the party's central office that day. Before this, a group of leaders and activists came out in 2019 and formed a new platform called Jan-Ankshaar Bangladesh, after disagreeing about the role of Jamaat in the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971.

Later on May 2, 2020 it debuted as a political party as AB Party. After the fall of the Awami government, the party was registered as a political party on August 21.
