Will do politics to fulfill father's incomplete work: Anna's daughter Doreen

Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen, daughter of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim Anar, said, 'Father's dream was to become a politician. That's why I was asked to study law. I will go into politics and implement my father's incomplete work.' He said these things in a recent interview given by a news media.

Anarkanya said, 'Father's dream was to become a politician. That's why I was asked to study law. Politics is my passion and I will do politics in future. If Allah puts it on my forehead, I will fulfill my father's incomplete work. I will fulfill my father's wishes.'

He said, 'I have been following the path shown by my father for so long. I started participating in processions and meetings of the Chhatra League when I was in the eighth standard. I was also present in various programs of District Chhatra League. Chhatra League is the hotbed of politics. That is why I have been involved in BCL politics for a long time. The leaders and activists of every union in Kaliganj know me, I will do politics.

Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen said, 'Since I don't have a father, I think politics will be difficult for me. However, if the compassionate Mother Prime Minister stays by my side and cooperates, then there will be no difficulty in anything. Because Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken the reins of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. I lost my father, he (Prime Minister) lost his entire family. In that case, if I want to do politics as a girl, the Prime Minister will definitely support me. As evidence, you may be able to see in the future.'

He said, 'If you want to do politics, there is moral pollution with many people. But I don't mean to name anyone. There are many who want to become members of parliament. Political rivalry is everywhere. Eight to 10 attempts were made to kill my father before this. I dare say, no other MP walks as casually as my father. He mingled with common people very easily. People have to have some good work.'

It is to be noted that on May 12, MP Annar went to India from Kaliganj in Jhenaidah to Darshanar Gede in Chuadanga for treatment. He stayed at the house of a friend named Gopal Biswas on Mandalpara Lane of Barahnagar police station in West Bengal. DB said that he was killed there on May 13 and his body was cut into pieces and disappeared.
