A woman named Rebecca Begum (40) died after falling from a tree in Narail. The accident happened on Saturday (May 11) at noon.
According to police and local sources, husband Rebecca lived in a rented house in Kurigram area of the city with her only child and bought various seasonal fruits from people's trees and sold them.
Rebecca fell from the tree while picking litchi from Rasul Mia's tree in Betbaria of Narail town area on Saturday afternoon. However, since no one was there at that time, he was lying on the tree for more than an hour.
Later, a child went there and saw Rebecca lying like this and returned home. Then the people around rescued him and took him to the hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Narail Sadar Police Station Saiful Islam confirmed the matter.
