Under the slogan 'See the Science, Be the Change', the two-day long Seventh National Science Fair was organized by the Jahangirnagar University Science Club.
On Saturday (October 18) at 4:30 in the afternoon, this year's program will be closed by distribution of prizes to the students participating in the various events of the festival at Zaheer Raihan Auditorium of the University. Students from various schools, colleges and universities of the country participate in the festival.
The organizers said that 37 contestants were awarded in eight segments at the festival to encourage young people to practice science. The segments include – Maths Olympiad, Biology Olympiad, Science Quiz, Poster Presentation, Rubik's Cube, Four Minute Presentation, Project Showcasing, Line Follower Robot. A total prize of 1 lakh rupees was given to the winners. Apart from this, T-shirts, e-certificates and prize money were given to the participants of the festival.
Speaking as a special guest at the award ceremony, Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Mahfuzur Rahman said, “Science gives us an opportunity to think deeply. Best wishes to all the winners of the Science Club's seventh Science Festival. This competition will play a role in science practice and making future scientists.”
Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Sohail Ahmed said, “Science Club has introduced not only the university but also the whole of Bangladesh. The Creator has given two things as the greatest gift. One is life and the other is technology. The activities of those who practice science represent the Creator. Scientists serve us by inventing various technologies. I thank those who are associated with organizing this festival. I am and will remain with Zabi Science Club.”

Earlier, the seventh JUSC National Science Festival 2025 was inaugurated on Friday (October 17) morning by the University's Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Mahfuzur Rahman.
Zabi Science Club Chief Advisor Prof. Shafi Mohammad Tarek, Advisor Prof. Fazlul Karim Patuari and former and current leaders of the club were present among others.
On the first day of the two-day event, Math Olympiad, Rubik's Cube Competition, 4-minute presentation, science lectures were held on Friday (October 17).
On the second day, Saturday (October 18), Science Quiz, Biology Olympiad, Poster Presentation, Project Showcasing Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony were organized.
