215 megawatts of electricity is produced in 1 day by the increase of water in Kaptai Lake

The continuous rains of the last few days and the hill slopes coming down from the upstream have increased the water in the Kaptai Lake. In this, 215 megawatts of electricity has been generated from 5 units of Karnaphuli Water Power Plant (KappaBK) of Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati.
