35 aspirants will lay siege to Shahbagh today


35 aspiring general students blockaded Shahbagh for about 7 hours on Saturday (September 7) demanding that the age limit for applying for government jobs be increased to 35 years. Meanwhile, the blockade was lifted and he left the place by announcing that he would hold a sit-in program in Shahbag again on Sunday (September 8). At night, the organizer of the movement, Musharraf Pathan, gave this information. At 1.30 pm on Saturday, students blocked Shahbagh intersection. This stopped traffic through Shahbag square. Later, around 7:30 pm, a delegation went to a meeting with Asif Nazrul, Advisor to the Ministry of Law.

An hour later, at around 8:30 pm, Musharraf Pathan, the organizer of the students' coordination council, came to Shahbagh and said, “We have gone to meet Asif Nazrul sir.” But sir has gone out for urgent work. About his PS, he told us that within the next seven to ten days, a decision will be taken about age in employment by forming a non-discrimination commission.

He said, after receiving this assurance, we are withdrawing the blockade as of today. From Sunday morning, we will again hold a sit-in program at Shahbagh.
