49ers RB Christian McCaffrey Limited in Practice With Injury as Week 1 Nears

The San Francisco 49ers officially listed star running back Christian McCaffrey as a limited participant in practice on Thursday as their Week 1 regular season opener nears.

McCaffrey suffered a calf strain in the beginning of August and sat out the entire preseason. He returned to practice this week, albeit in a limited fashion. The 49ers are officially listing him on the injury report with a calf/achilles injury.
