5 Bangladeshis detained at Daulatpur border

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested 5 Bangladeshi youths for trespassing into Indian territory.

On Sunday (August 18) morning, BSF members caught them from Jamalpur border area of ​​Pragpur Union of Kushtia's Daulatpur Upazila. BSF members patrolling Meghna camp of Hogalbaria police station in West Bengal's Nadia district of India arrested them and took them to their own camp. Those arrested are Rabbi Hossain (17), son of Kabul Hossain, Lalon Hossain's son Biblab Hossain (18), Bishu Mandal's son Ziarul Islam (17), Zulmat Hossain's son Rafiqul Islam (18) and Zillur Rahman's son Rohan Hossain (17). ). Ashrafuzzaman Mukul, Chairman of Pragpur Union Parishad of Upazila confirmed the truth of the incident. He said that five Bangladeshi youths were detained by the BSF from the Indian territory of the Jamalpur border on Sunday morning. Company commander of Pragpur camp of BGB, Subedar Basharul Islam, told Ittefaq that the BSF held a flag meeting with us at around 12:30 noon. However, the BSF has not yet announced any decision on whether the arrested will not be sent back to the country but will be handed over to the Indian police.
