73 police officers were promoted to the post of DIG

73 police officers have been promoted from Additional DIG (Additional Deputy Inspector General) to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police. Out of these 63 have been promoted as supernumeraries.

The promotion was given in two separate notifications issued by the Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday (August 18).

Deputy Secretary Md. signed the notification by order of the President. Mahabur Rahman Sheikh.

According to the notification, the promoted officers will join the Secretary of the Public Safety Department through proper authority and will continue to serve in their respective posts until further posting.
