In the light of the High Court's verdict, a legal notice has been sent to the government asking the media to stop speaking in the case under investigation including the murder case of MP Anwarul Azim Anna.
This notice has been sent to the Home Secretary, IG of Police and Police Commissioner of Dhaka.
Supreme Court lawyer Muhammad Shishir Monir sent this notice to them on Wednesday.
According to the notice, Member of Parliament for Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Anwarul Azim Annar went missing after going to West Bengal for treatment. In this regard, the High Court Division gave necessary directions in the case of Ayesha Siddiqa Minni v. State (39 BLD 470).

It is not appropriate to present an arrested person before the media in such a way that his dignity and honor are lost and during the investigation i.e. before the filing of the police report, it is not appropriate to present any statement to the media about the arrested person or the investigation process of the case, which creates controversy or question in the public mind about the impartiality of the investigation. can do
According to the notice, in the light of the judgment of the High Court, a writ will be filed in the High Court if the media does not stop broadcasting the statements about the case under investigation.
