Sheikh Hasina is going to India on Saturday

Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Delhi on Saturday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India for the third time. He informed reporters after the 2024-25 fiscal year budget presentation ceremony in Parliament on Thursday (June 6).

Earlier yesterday morning, the Prime Minister's Press Wing informed that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to India on Friday (June 7) to attend the swearing-in ceremony of his Council of Ministers at the invitation of Narendra Modi.

However, according to Indian media sources, Modi will take oath as Prime Minister on Sunday evening (June 9) instead of Saturday.

Earlier on Wednesday, Narendra Modi was elected as the head of the BJP-led NDA alliance. When Modi is sworn in as Prime Minister next Sunday, he will become the second Indian after Jawaharlal Nehru to become Prime Minister for the third time in a row.

The results of the Indian Lok Sabha elections were announced last Tuesday. After announcing the results, it can be seen that Modi's BJP has won 240 seats in this election. Whereas in 2019 they got 303 seats alone.
