Miscreants brutally killed four members of the same family by slitting their throats in Niamatpur, Naogaon. This terrible murder happened in Bahadurpur union of the upazila at midnight on Monday (April 20). In this incident, there is a shadow of mourning and extreme fear in the entire area.
According to local sources, the neighbors went to the house early on Tuesday morning and saw the bodies of four people lying there. The miscreants entered the house in the dead of night, slit their throats with sharp weapons and escaped. However, the identity of the deceased could not be confirmed immediately. According to the police, the killing may have taken place due to prior enmity or some other planned reason.
Niamatpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the murder on Tuesday (April 21) morning. He said, 'We came to know the matter after receiving news from the locals. A special police team has already left for the spot.'
He also said that after the police reach the spot, the identity of the victims and the real reason for the murder will be known in detail subject to investigation. The bodies are in the process of being sent to the morgue for post-mortem.
The brutal killing of four members of the same family has created a sensation in Bahadurpur Union. The local residents demanded that the criminals be quickly identified and brought under the law.
