India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and his team are in official contact with Bangladesh's ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Anandabazar Online reported the information citing sources on Sunday.
The media reported that Sheikh Hasina took refuge in India's capital Delhi on August 5. But India has not disclosed his address yet. Doval has met Hasina's hideout twice since August 5.
Last week, Sheikh Hasina made a long statement on Bangladesh's internal politics from Delhi. This statement could not have been published without the seal of the Indian agency. In that statement, Hasina said that America was behind her resignation. His statement has the unwavering support of the Indian organization.
Anandabazar writes, 'Hasina came to India in crisis, in an emergency. New Delhi has not officially announced that he has been granted 'political asylum'. But within weeks of his arrival, it was made clear by the South Block that he could stay in India as long as he wanted. It depends on Hasina whether to go to another state or not. New Delhi's statement in this regard, he is India's friend.
