Withdrawal of dismissal order of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gazipur

Gazipur Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Jisanul Haque was temporarily suspended for providing sensitive information including national identity card of former DMP Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia. Monday (July 19) senior secretary of the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Home Affairs. His dismissal order was revoked by a notification signed by Mohammad Abdul Momen.

According to the notification, Jisanul Haque (BP-8514166331), former Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Gazipur, currently suspended, has been paid Rs. Notification No. 045.24-296 has been revoked as per Bangladesh Service Rules (BSR) Part-1, Rule-72, 73.

The notification further stated that the period of his temporary suspension will be counted as the period in office. He shall be liable for arrears of salary and allowances as per rules. This order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.

In a letter sent to the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs on June 19, the police headquarters recommended the temporary suspension of Jisanul Haque.

Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mahbub Alam said, 'His (Jisanul Haque) temporary suspension order has been revoked by order of the President. He is supposed to attend work on Tuesday.'
