Protest march in Gabtali demanding arrest of Dipzal

Actor Monowar Hossain Dipzal said in a recent video message that his two sons Shadman Monowar Ami and Samir Monowar took part in the anti-discrimination student movement.

The actor said, 'My two sons were also with you in the movement. I said, you go, no problem. If there is death, there will be. Maybe you don't know them'.

After such a statement of Dipzal, the locals protested in Gabtali of the capital. Where they demanded the arrest of this actor.

On Monday (August 18) at 4:30 in the afternoon, hundreds of protestors took part in the demonstration at Gabtali Bus Terminal.

Where they said, Monowar Hossain Dipzal's lie about the involvement of his sons in the anti-discrimination student movement is an extreme joke with the blood of martyrs. He is the beneficiary of Awami League and the provider of money and weapons to kill students in this anti-quota movement. Due to this false statement of his, today the students in Gabtali and its surrounding areas are angry.

The protesters demanded the immediate arrest of Dipzal and his expulsion from the post of general secretary of the Film Artists Association to free Bengali films from obscenity.

Lutfar Rahman CIP, a local resident of Gabtali, an independent candidate of kettle symbol in the last parliamentary elections and the former lessee of Gabtali Pasurhat, said, I have been running the Gabtali cow market for the past 24 years. This year, during Eid al-Adha, Dipzol forcibly took away the cattle market with the help of the local Awami League MP. Apart from this, Dipzal has also become a member of Shah Ali Shrine, School Management Committee, Market Committee during the Awami League period.

He said that in the last parliamentary elections, Dipzol held regular processions, meetings and gatherings for Nikhil, the Awami League nominated boat candidate of Dhaka-14 constituency. The entire constituency is covered in festoons of posters with Dipzol's picture in favor of the Awami League candidate. Deepzol staunch Awami League – will not change now.
