It is said that according to the decision of the board of directors in the meeting, Ahmed Zobair has been relieved from the position of managing director and chief executive of Time Television.

The notification also said that in the same meeting, director Shampa Rahman was given the responsibility as the managing director. All the activities of Samham Media Limited will be conducted under the guidance of the new managing director. Later, Ahmed Zobair appealed to the company bench of the High Court challenging the validity of this exemption.
