BNP leader Salahuddin received S Alam's luxury car

BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed was seen riding in a luxury car owned by S Alam. Last Wednesday (August 28) he went to Chakria-Pekua from Cox's Bazar in a Mitsubishi station wagon brand jeep. A few videos of Saladin's journey with the fleet have gone viral on social media. The number of the car in which Salahuddin was seen at that time is Chatt Metro G-11-1533.

According to the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) Chittagong office, the vehicle is registered in the name of S Alam Power Plant. It was registered in 2010. BRTA's server mentions Ashadganj S Alam Bhawan in Chittagong as the address.

After more than 10 years, Salahuddin went to his home area. He landed at Cox's Bazar airport around 12 noon on Wednesday. From there he went to Chakaria by car with a fleet of activists. On this day, he addressed a public meeting organized by BNP at Shaheed Abdul Hamid Municipal Bus Terminal in Chakaria. From there he went to Pekua, the village house.

BNP leader Salahuddin claimed that he boarded the car without knowing the matter. In this regard, he said, hundreds of people have come. I don't know whose car I got into. The driver who drove the car has been driving my family for seven-eight years.

The issue of Salahuddin's ride in a car owned by S Alam came to light at a time when discussions and criticisms are going on across the country regarding the looting of the industrial group from various banks in the name of loans. On August 29, the top leaders of Chittagong South District BNP were accused of helping to remove 14 luxury cars used by the family of Saiful Alam Masud, the leader of S Alam Group. Various media reports including videos were published about it. BNP on Sunday (September 1) announced the abolition of Chittagong South District Unit in the face of severe criticism across the country.
