Rose remanded for 3 days again

The court granted a 3-day remand to Abdus Sobhan Golap, Awami League's publicity and publication secretary, in the capital's Adabar police station case for killing Rubel, a garment worker during the anti-discrimination movement. Monday (September 2) Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka. Mehdi Hasan's court gave this order.

He was produced in the court at 7 o'clock in the morning after the remand of seven days. After that, the investigating officer of the case, Inspector Mintu Chandra Vanik of Adabar police station, again applied for a seven-day remand. At that time, the defendants held a hearing seeking cancellation of remand and bail. After the hearing of both parties, the court ordered remand.

On August 25, Golap was arrested from West Nakhalpara of the capital. The next day, the court granted Golab's seven-day remand in this case.

In this case, Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader, Shakib Al Hasan and actor Ferdous Ahmed named 156 people and 400-500 others are accused. On August 22, Rafiqul Islam, the father of garment worker Rubel, filed the case at Adabar police station as the plaintiff.

In the statement of the case, the plaintiff complained that on August 5, Rubel took part in the protest march of the students on the ring road of Adabar. At that time, the defendants were fired at the procession with the direct and indirect instruction, instigation, help, cooperation and direct support. Rubel was shot in the chest and stomach. He died on August 7 while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Bangladesh Awami League, Bangladesh Chhatra League, Bangladesh Jubo League, Bangladesh Volunteer League, Bangladesh Sramik League, Bangladesh Tanti League, Bangladesh Krishak League, Bangladesh Fishermen League are also named in the list of accused in the case.
