Districts where it may rain for 3 consecutive days

Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh, the Meteorological Department has forecast rain in many parts of the country. This information was given in the forecast for the next 72 hours from 9 am on Monday (September 2).

It is said that the land depression located in South Orissa and adjoining areas has moved towards northwest direction and is currently located in Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas. It may gradually weaken as it moves further north-west. The extension of the monsoon axis extends over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, the center of land depression, Odisha, West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.

In this situation, rain with thunder may occur in many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and one or two places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Monday. Also, there may be heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.

In the next 24 hours from 9 am on Tuesday, many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and one or two places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience rain with thunder. Also, there may be heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.

Apart from this, rain with thunder may occur in most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and some places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Wednesday. Along with this, there may be heavy rainfall at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
