All garment factories have been opened in Ashulia

Amid ongoing unrest, Savar's Ashulia garment factories have been opened. The authorities said that the workers joined the factory at eight in the morning.

The movement of garment workers has been raging for a few days due to various demands. BGMEA has decided to keep all the factories open from Thursday (September 5) after receiving the security assurance from the government.

Meanwhile, the authorities announced a holiday in at least 167 establishments after protests and vandalism in areas dominated by the garment industry on Wednesday. However, the workers returned to work under the security of the joint forces from Thursday morning.
