Hanging bodies of three including mother and son recovered in Comilla

The police recovered the hanging bodies of three members of the same family, including mother and son, from Homna in Comilla. The law and order forces recovered their bodies around 10 am on Thursday (September 5).

The deceased are Shahparan's wife Mahmuda Akhtar (35), their 9-year-old son Shahad and Shahparan's cousin's daughter Tisha (14).

Comilla Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP Homna Circle) Mir Mohsin confirmed the matter.

Locals said, Bara Ghagutia Village Md. Shahparan worked a job in Dhaka. His wife-son and a brother's daughter Tisha were sleeping on Wednesday night. At some point in the night, miscreants killed them by twisting veils around their necks and ran away.

ASP Mir Mohsin said that the locals informed the police after seeing the bodies of three people in the same room on Thursday morning. After receiving the news, we came with the force and recovered the bodies. The dead bodies have injury marks on the head. They are believed to have been killed. We are investigating the incident.

Preparations are underway to send the bodies to Comilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy. He said that legal action is under process in this incident.
