India's defense minister's speech is provocative: Manna

Nagrik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna commented that Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh's statement about Bangladesh was purposeful and provocative. He said this in a statement sent to the media on Saturday (September 7).

Mahmudur Rahman Manna said that the Indian Defense Minister asked the army to be ready to establish peace through war. It is their internal matter, a matter of state security. But he talked about monitoring the situation in Bangladesh along with Russia-Ukraine, Israel-Hamas. Which is completely unacceptable.

He also said that there is no war situation in Bangladesh. On the contrary, Bangladesh is most relaxed in the last 15 years after the overthrow of the autocratic government through a popular uprising with the spontaneous participation of the people of the country. Rajnath Singh's naming of the sovereign state of Bangladesh along with Russia, Ukraine, Israel and Hamas is dubious.

The president of Nagorika Oikya said, as a neighboring country, we expect full cooperation from India in the current situation of Bangladesh. Any such comment coming from India is not expected to have a negative impact on the relationship between the two countries. At that time Mahmudur Rahman Manna demanded to send back the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of the deposed dictatorship government of Bangladesh.

He also said, like all other countries, we want friendship with neighboring India. But this friendship must be based on fairness and respecting the expectations of the people of the two countries. Otherwise the new Bangladesh after Sheikh Hasina's rule will deal with the situation diplomatically and India should remember that we have the capacity.
