A construction worker named Abdul Jalil (26) died after falling from the fifth floor of an under-construction building in Mohammadpur of the capital.
This incident happened on Wednesday evening. He was rescued and brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Then he died under treatment in ward number 103 around 8:30 pm.
Aminul Islam, the brother-in-law of the deceased, said that Amar Shala is a construction worker by profession. In the evening, he fell from the fifth floor of an under-construction building in Mohammadpur and was seriously injured. After that, his colleagues quickly brought him to Dhaka Medical, where he died under treatment.
He also said that my family's village house is in Kesharnagar village of Dubaura police station in Mymensingh district. He md. Son of Hafiz Mia. Currently lived in the building under construction.
Inspector in charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Camp. Bachchu Mia confirmed the death and said that the body has been kept in the emergency department morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital and the matter has been informed to the concerned police station.
