The US House of Representatives is finally voting on the financial aid bill for Ukraine

The US House of Representatives is finally going to vote on the foreign aid bill on Saturday. The vote could end a month-long deadlock in the Republican-led House of Representatives.

The bill calls for new financial aid to Ukraine against Russian aggression. But Republicans have refused to provide new financial aid to Ukraine.

The four bills call for about $26 billion in humanitarian aid for Israel, $61 billion for Ukraine, $8 billion for US allies in the Indo-Pacific region and $9 billion for civilians. House members will vote separately on these bills.

If the bill passes, Ukraine will get a significant financial lifeline. That's because the country's military is at its most vulnerable since the start of the war due to dwindling supplies of ammunition and anti-aircraft missiles.
