Attempt to rape the lover in front of the lover, arrest 3

The police arrested 3 people including UP Chairman's son in connection with the attempted rape of his lover in front of his lover in Bhanga of Faridpur. A young man was arrested from the spot on Friday night. Later, based on the information given by him, the police arrested the remaining 2 youths on Saturday morning.

The arrested are Saifur Rahman Sujan (21), son of Chandra Union Parishad chairman Khalek Molla, his two associates Tahsin Munsi (20), son of Munnu Munsi of Gowaldi village of Chandra Union and Munna Mia (20), son of Taleb Mia of the same village.

Earlier on Friday (May 31) night, there was an attempted rape of the young woman in the Bamankanda rail junction area of ​​the upazila.

According to local residents and police sources, Yunuch Sardar, a lover from Gupterchar area of ​​Shivchar, came to Bhanga Gol Chattar area with his lover. They were returning home in the van after evening. On reaching the spot, 3 mischievous youths including Sujan stopped their van and forced them to get down. At one point, the miscreants took Eunuch down the road into the jungle, slapped and intimidated him and tried to rape his lover.
At that time, when a police patrol van reached there through the bypass road of the expressway, the van driver reported the matter to the police. Later the police chased and managed to arrest one of the crooks. The rest fled from the spot.
Khalek Molla, chairman of Chandra Union Parishad of Bhanga Upazila, said, “My son has been detained by the police.” But he is not involved in this incident, he used to come from Bhanga on a motorcycle. In that incident he tries to stop everyone else. Later the police found my son and took him to the police station when the others ran away.

Confirming the truth of the incident, Bhanga Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mamun Al Rashid said that UP Chairman's son was arrested from the scene while trying to rape his lover in front of his lover. Later his two accomplices were arrested. Legal action is under process in this incident.
