BNP mourns Salahuddin and Khokon

BNP's National Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed and Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon have been issued a show cause notice by the party's highest policy-making forum.

On Monday afternoon, a show-cause notice was sent to the Dhaka residence of these two leaders for breaching party discipline. This information is known from BNP office sources.

Earlier, a controversy arose around Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of the BNP's standing committee, as he was welcomed by the car of the S Alam group. To end this controversy, he held a press conference and expressed his regret.

He told reporters at Salahuddin Ahmed's Gulshan residence on Monday afternoon, “After 10 years, I participated in the reception in my own constituency. I could not decide which car I will take from the airport. Chakaria district BNP president-general secretary who organized the reception.
