Formation of coordination cell to help flood victims

A 'Disaster Management Support Coordination Cell' has been formed in the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs to help deal with the flood situation in Bangladesh.

The news was announced in a notification of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs today, Friday (August 23).

The coordination cell is divided into three shifts. 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm and 10 pm to 6 am.

Joint Secretary of Public Security Department. Haroon-or-Rashid has been given the responsibility of overseeing the overall operations of this cell. Requested to get in touch with concerned persons to get any kind of help during disaster.

The coordination cell will inform the concerned authorities of the information obtained and will follow up at all times, maintaining constant communication with all concerned in disaster management.
