Hasanul Haque Inu arrested

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasad) president and former minister Hasanul Haque Inu has been arrested by the police.

He was arrested from Uttara in the capital on Monday (August 26) afternoon. There are multiple murder cases against him.

After the fall of the Awami League government led by Sheikh Hasina in the anti-discrimination movement on August 5, murder cases are being filed in different parts of the country. Jasd president Hasanul Haque Inu, one of the partners of the 14 parties, is also an accused in several cases.

Bangladesh Workers Party president Rashed Khan Menon, one of the members of the 14 party, was arrested by the police on August 22.

After the fall of the government, the Awami League government's minister-MP and several central leaders of the party have already been arrested. Most of the leaders are in hiding to avoid arrest. News has also been published that some have left the country.
