Headphones in ears, tragic death of a school student after being hit by a train

Naldanga of Natore was hit by Barendra Express train. A school student named Khorshed Alam (14) was killed. The accident happened on Monday (May 20) around 11 o'clock near the bridge number 244 on the north side of the Madhnagar railway station of the upazila.

The deceased Khorshed Alam Naldanga upazila of Madhnagar village of East Joan area. Babu Pramanik's son. He is a class VIII student of West Madhanagar Purushottamvati High School.

Madhnagar Railway Station Master. Momin Ali Pramanik confirmed this information and said that on Monday morning, school student Khorshed Alam left home to study privately. Later around 11 o'clock he was walking along the railway track with headphones in his ear towards the station. At that time, when he reached the bridge No. 244, he was hit by the Rajshahi-bound Barendra Express train from behind and died on the spot due to serious injuries. On hearing the news, the family recovered his body and took it away. The matter has been reported to Santahar GRP police station.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Santahar GRP police station. Muktar Hossain said that the police was sent to the spot after receiving the news of the death of the school student due to the train. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
