Human chain in Lohagara demanding withdrawal of UNO transfer

A human chain and procession was held to demand the withdrawal of the transfer order of Narail's Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Zahurul Islam. On Friday (September 6), the human chain was made near the Lohagra upazila gate.

Central BNP leader Major (retd) Md. Manjurul Islam Prince, BNP leader Sh. Lutfar Rahman, district BNP office secretary Tipu Sultan, district BNP women affairs secretary Saleh Begum, district BNP co-publicity secretary Syed Abdus Sabur spoke at the human chain. , municipal BNP joint convener Moshiur Rahman Santu, member secretary of Lohagara Upazila Jubodal Ahaduzzaman Batu, BNP leader and municipal councilor Milu Sharif and numerous leaders and workers of BNP and people from various professions were present.

The speaker said, Lohagara upazila executive officer. Zahurul Islam is an honest and humane officer. During his duty, day and night, ignoring the storm and rain, he rushed to the place where he heard about the problem and solved the problem by talking to the local people.

Speakers also said that during the anti-discrimination movement of students, he patiently played the highest role on behalf of the administration to maintain law and order which was unprecedented in the country. For this reason, Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Zahurul Islam's demand for the lives of the people drew the attention of the senior administration officials to cancel the transfer order and keep him in his own place.
