In Khulna, the schoolgirl friend left her lover alive

Class 10 student Sathi Akhtar committed suicide by hanging herself in Pipramari area of ​​Khulna's Harintana police station due to her love affair with an NGO official.

This incident happened on Saturday (June 15) at around 12 o'clock. His family mourns the death of his wife. A case of wrongful death has been registered at the police station in this incident.

Three days before his death, Sathi gave a status on his Facebook ID. The status is exactly what it says – 'Oh hobbyist, as much as you have played, throw Mirzafar in that game too'.

A day before this, Sathi wrote on his Facebook status, “Come to see me before the last funeral, so that I can have a little taste of seeing you in the afterlife.”

Sathi Akhtar, the deceased, is the elder daughter of Yousuf Sheikh, a sand trader in Pipramari area of ​​Takrabad, Harintana police station. She is a class 10 student of Pragati Secondary School.

The police and Sathi's family members said that Raj Biswas, an accountant of a local NGO, developed a love relationship with Sathi Akhter a year and a half ago. Recently, there is a conflict between them. As a result of this last Saturday (June 15) at around 12 o'clock in the night, Sathi put Raj Biswas on a video call and committed suicide by putting a noose around his neck.

On receiving the information, the police recovered the body and sent it to the Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for postmortem. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family on Sunday afternoon.

When the body was taken home, Sathi's father Yusuf Sheikh and mother Kulsoom Begum, family members and classmates burst into tears. Besides, many people from the area flocked to that house. After the funeral in the afternoon, the body was buried.

OC of Harintana Police Station. Monirul Islam said that Sathi's father filed a wrongful death case at the police station on Sunday afternoon.

Khulna Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (South) Md. Tajul Islam said that they are investigating the matter. If the motive for suicide is proved. Then there will be a case under that section and further legal action will be taken.
