Inauguration of the 'Transforming Lives Through Nutrition' project

A project was inaugurated on Monday (May 7th) in the capital, titled 'Transforming Lives Through Nutrition'.

The project is funded by Helen Keller International, IDE Bangladesh and Vitamin Angeles, jointly led by the Church of Jesus Christ of Laters-Day Saints.

The main goal of this project is to improve the nutrition and health quality of pregnant women, mothers and children under the age of five in the underprivileged region of Bangladesh. The project focuses on the first 4,000 days of the child's life to ensure integrated and sustainable intervention in eliminating nutrition.

Representatives from various ministries and departments, development partners, NGOs and private sectors participated in the event.

Speakers at the event said that such initiatives will make significant contributions to the development of maternal and children nutrition in the country and will help achieve the national nutrition goals. -Snuni.
