Lijon, the accused in 16 cases, was hacked to death in Narsingdi

Miscreants hacked to death Fishermen's League leader Lizon Molla (30) in Sadar Upazila of Narsingdi. He is the son of Alamgir Molla of Basail area of ​​the upazila. Lijan was an active member of the District Fishermen's League.

There are 16 cases against him including murder, terrorism, robbery, extortion.

The murder took place on Saturday (August 31) at around 12:00 PM at Basail Shahi Eidgah ground in Narsingdi town.

Locals said that the miscreants cut and stabbed him near the Eidgah ground near the trauma center in Basil area and left him seriously injured. Later the locals rescued him and took him to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Mahmudul Kabir Arif, the doctor on duty at Sadar Hospital, said, 'Leejan was brought to the hospital in a dead state. There are various injury marks on his body.'

Police have confirmed the death of Lizon Mollar due to stabbing. However, the police could not immediately tell what caused the murder.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Narsingdi Sadar Model Police Station Tanveer Ahmed said, “Somebody hacked Lizon Molla to death. There are 16 cases against him including murder, terrorism, robbery, extortion in various police stations including Narsingdi Sadar Police Station.
