Quinton de Kock's fifty was a bit slow though. Nicholas Pooran-Krunal Pandya paid it towards the end. Lucknow Super Giants challenged for two hundred runs against Punjab Kings in the cameo of the two.

Lucknow won the toss and batted first at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium on Saturday, scoring 199 runs for 8 wickets. Krunal was unbeaten on 43 off 22 balls. His innings was studded with 4 fours and two sixes.

The highest 54 runs came from the bat of de Kock. De Kock scored 5 fours and 2 sixes off 38 balls. Lokesh Rahul (15), Devdutt Padikkal (9) and Marcus Stoinis (19) could not prolong the innings when Cock kept on at one end.

After that, Lucknow returned to the match with an old storm. He scored 43 runs off 22 balls with 3 sixes and fours. Lucknow's run would have been more had 3 wickets not fallen in the last 2 overs. Sam Karan took maximum 3 wickets for Punjab.
