One of the accused in Tangail Tiktkar Motaleb murder arrested

RAB arrested Anich Ali, one of the accused in the Tangail comedy director and tiktok Motaleb Hossain murder case.

On Tuesday (August 20) at noon, RAB-14, CPC-3, Tangail Company Captain Abdul Bached informed this information in a press release. Earlier on Monday night, he was arrested from Daar Bazaar of Tangail Sadar Upazila.

The arrested Anich Ali (50) is the son of deceased Saheb Ali of Konabari village of Tangail Sadar Upazila.

Acting company captain said that Anich Ali was arrested after raiding secret information. Anich Ali is accused number two in the murder case.

He said that the deceased Motaleb Hossain was a businessman by profession. Apart from business, he used to make funny videos and promote them on social media including TikTok. On the morning of August 14, Motaleb Hossain left home on a motorcycle to shoot. Later, around 11:30 PM, Anich's wife got the news that her husband was lying on the road in a bloody state. Later he was rescued and taken to Tangail General Hospital where he was declared dead by the duty officer. In this incident, Maryam Begum, the wife of the deceased, filed a case at Tangail Sadar Police Station as the plaintiff.

He further said that after the incident, the accused left the area and went into hiding. The operation to arrest the other accused involved in the incident is continuing.
