The coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement paid a courtesy call on the IGP at the police headquarters on Monday afternoon. At that time, the IGP said that the police headquarters has already given necessary instructions to the concerned units to investigate every incident of attack on minorities with due importance. Appropriate directions have also been issued to arrest the criminals involved in such heinous activities and take necessary legal action and ensure the protection of the victims and their families.
The IGP said that if there is any violation of the overall security of the people, including the minority community, he has requested everyone to immediately file a complaint with the concerned police station.
