Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP commented that the Prime Minister has pushed the people of the entire country to death to keep his people happy and peaceful.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the distribution ceremony of pure drinking water, saline and leaflets at Khilgaon Taltala under the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Ward No. 23 on Monday afternoon. BNP Sports Secretary and Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Aminul Haque and Rampura Thana BNP Joint Convenor Nilufar Yasmin Neelu were present as special guests.
Rizvi said, a lot of development has been done in this country. Every day, from the Prime Minister of Awami League, ministers and MPs have got ulcers inside their throats as they shout and speak. If there is real development, then that development will be centered on people. It is not development for Awami leaders to build houses abroad. Awami League leaders see the picture of the development with fingers blooming banana tree. People did not want to see that development.
'Today there are no trees in the country, the river is full, the ravine has taken over everything. Then why will it rain, then why will there be leaves on the trees, why will there be fruits on the trees?'
Rizvi said, “All the experts said, 'Coal cannot be used to generate electricity.' You didn't listen to anyone. Because you want your people's pockets to be full. You pushed the people of the country to death, and built power plants to generate electricity ? People of the country have been burning for 28 days, 17 people including school students have died.”
