The Private Teachers Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has published the fifth public notice for the recruitment of teachers in private educational institutions (Schools-Colleges-Madrasahs-Technical Educational Institutions).
On Sunday (March 31), this public notice of teacher recruitment recommendations was published. It was signed by NTRC Member (Education and Learning Standards) Muhammad Noor Alam Siddiqui.
According to the notification, those interested in getting recommendation for appointment as teachers for 97 thousand 736 posts in private schools-colleges, madrasas, technical and business management educational institutions can apply online from 12 noon on April 17. The last date of application is May 9. Candidates age should be 35 years or less as on 1 January 2024.
Out of 97 thousand 736 vacant posts, there are 43 thousand 286 vacant posts at school and college level. There are 53 thousand 450 vacant posts in madrasas, technical and business management educational institutions. All posts under MPO.
It also says that a candidate can apply for jobs in maximum 40 educational institutions through one application. Apart from this, under the application, 'If you do not get a chance in the 40 institutions of your choice, will you join or not if you get a job opportunity in any other institution based on merit?' Applicants can also give their opinion on this matter.
Interested candidates can apply through these two websites (http://ngi.teletalk.com.bd) or (http://www.ntrca.gov.bd). Application rules are published on NTRCA website. There are instructions.
Since 2005, NTRCA has been issuing teacher registration certificates. However, for the first 10 years, the power to appoint teachers was in the hands of the governing body or managing committee of the respective educational institution. On December 30, 2015, the government empowered the NTRCA to issue certificates as well as recommend the appointment of teachers. After that, through four public notices, NTRCA made the final recommendation for the appointment of 1 lakh 13 thousand 312 teachers till December 31 last year.
On December 21, 2022, the fourth public notification was issued by NTRCA. There were 68 thousand 390 vacancies. These were under MPO. The result of the public notice was published on March 12 last year. 32 thousand 438 candidates were initially selected. Later, after police verification, age consideration and certificate verification, final recommendation for recruitment of 27 thousand 74 candidates was made on 20 September. Among them 13 thousand 705 in schools and colleges, 11 thousand 279 in madrasas, 516 in technical educational institutions, 1 thousand 583 in affiliated schools, 621 in affiliated madrasas got recommendations.
