Sakib and Ferdous are accused in the same murder case

A murder case has been registered against national team cricketer Shakib Al Hasan and actor Ferdous Ahmed at Dhaka's Adabar police station. Both of them are former parliament members of Awami League.

According to police sources, Shakib Al Hasan, former Member of Parliament of Magura-1 Constituency, has been made the 28th accused in the case. And former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-10 Constituency Ferdous Ahmed has been made accused number 55.

156 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader have been made accused in this case. Another 400-500 unidentified people have been accused in this.

In the statement of the case, the plaintiff alleged that Sheikh Hasina's government fell on August 5. On that day, Rubel took part in the procession at Ring Road in Adabar. At that time, the defendants were fired in the procession with the direct and indirect instruction, encouragement, help, cooperation and support. Rubel was hospitalized with gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen. He died on August 7 while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
