Students have deposited Tk 18 lakh lying on the road in Rajshahi to the police station. A mysterious golden colored metal object was found in the money bag. This metal object has 18 holes. These are supposed to be signals. However, the police said that after investigating where this money came from, further action will be taken.

The students collected the money and the metal object from the road in Bhadra area of ​​the city around 5:30 am on Sunday. Later, around 11 am, some students deposited the money and metal objects at Boalia Model Police Station in the city in the presence of the army and a magistrate.

In the presence of Barakuthi Land Office Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Army Warrant Officer Iqbal Hossain, Boalia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Masud Parvez accepted the money from them. The police say that further action will be taken after investigating where this money came from.

Akash Ali, a student of Rahmat Iqbal Degree College of Singra Upazila of Natore, along with some students came to the police station to deposit money. They currently live in Bhadra area. They said that they were staying in Bhadra area of ​​the city throughout the night to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the common people. They were returning home early in the morning after night duty.

At that time, he saw the bag lying on the street of an alley in that area. By kicking the bag, they realized there was something inside. Then they opened the bag and found a lot of money. Later found 18 bundles of 1000 rupee notes inside the bag.

They also said that the metal object I got was golden in color. However, it could not be verified whether it is gold or not. Meanwhile, the object has a total of 18 holes. There are also 18 bundles of money. It can also be a signal.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rajshahi's Boalia police station SM Masud Parvez said, they have accepted the money in the presence of an executive magistrate. Also, we have verified that the golden colored metal object is not gold. But it has many holes. We are investigating this matter. Who is the owner of this money, whether they are illegal or not, or whether a criminal has left the money while carrying it, will be investigated. Besides, with the permission of the court, the money will be promptly deposited in the state treasury.
