The body of G-TV newsroom editor was recovered from Hatirjheel

A woman named Sara Rahanuma (32) died after drowning in the capital's Hatirjheel. He was reported to be the newsroom editor of G-TV.

The incident took place on Tuesday (August 27) around 1:30 p.m.

Later he was rescued unconscious and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Sagar, the passerby who brought Rahanuma to the hospital, said that he saw the woman floating in the water of Hatirjheel lake. Later, he was rescued unconscious and taken to Dhaka Medical, where the doctor declared him dead.
