The price of gold has increased to 21776 taka

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) increased the price of gold again in two days in the country's market. This time the maximum of 1 thousand 680 taka has been increased for each load of gold.

As a result of the price increase, the price of the best quality 22 carat gold bar has risen to Tk 2 lakh 1 thousand 776. On Saturday (November 1), gold was sold at Tk 2 lakh 96 per load. The new prices will be effective from November 2.

Earlier on October 19, Bajus created a record by increasing the price of gold. On that day, the price of gold per bar was 2 lakh 17 thousand 382 taka.

Bajus said in a notification on Saturday (November 1) night that the price of pure gold has increased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation.

According to the new prices, from Sunday, the best quality gold or 22 carats will be sold at Tk 2 lakh 1 thousand 176, 21 carats at Tk 1 lakh 92 thousand 596, 18 carat at Tk 1 lakh 65 thousand 81 and traditional gold at Tk 1 lakh 37 thousand 180.

Meanwhile, the price of one 22 carat silver is 4 thousand 246 taka, while 21 carat is 4 thousand 47 taka, 18 carat is 3 thousand 476 taka and traditional method is 2 thousand 601 taka.
