“The idea that India has a relationship with a particular political party in Bangladesh is wrong,” said Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri, who was visiting Dhaka.

In the 40-minute meeting, minority issues, disinformation, the deposed Sheikh Hasina's stay in India, regional cooperation and the July-August coup were discussed.
'A cloud has come about, it must be removed'

Vikram Mishri said that during the mass uprising of July-August, he observed the events of Bangladesh almost every hour.
The Chief Adviser detailed how students, workers and the masses united in a popular uprising in July-August to end Hasina's corrupt regime.
He said, “Our job is to keep the dreams of the youth alive. This is a new Bangladesh.”
At that time, he outlined the reform initiatives taken by the interim government.
