For the past two weeks, the focus of discussion in the international press was the news of counterattacks by Israel and Iran. However, in the meantime, Israel did not stop attacking Gaza even for an hour. Dozens of people in Gaza are killed every day, but the international organizations somehow turn their backs.
Israel has killed more than 34,000 people in Gaza since the war began on October 7, according to figures from the Hamas-run health ministry. More than 10,000 of them are women.
Israeli forces continue their efforts to destroy Hamas. They carried out deadly raids in Kona in Gaza last week.
Relatives rushed to Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital in nearby Deir al-Balah on Tuesday, carrying the bloodied bodies of young boys and girls from al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. Hospital doctors said at least 12 people were killed and about 30 injured in the shelling in Al-Maghazi.
A relative of one of the children told the BBC: 'They were playing in the street. Why were they hurt? They were not in any position close to the Israeli forces.'
Another child's relative said, 'They were just playing. They were walking in common with the people in the market.'
There was also footage of Israeli strikes in northern parts of Gaza City and in Rafah on the border with Egypt. But thousands of Palestinians are living in tents after fleeing the war in those areas. Locals said Israeli soldiers were taking the men out of the tent.
