Although winter is felt in the capital, the intensity of winter continues in most parts of the country. The normal way of life in the northern region is disrupted. While the ongoing situation may be normal in some places, it may last till February in most places.

On Monday (January 29), meteorologist Tariful Newaz reported this information.

He said, how long the winter will last depends on the area. Although the temperature increased towards Dhaka, it did not increase much towards the north. Normally, winter lasts till February 15 in Dhaka. There may be a bit more northwards. But the temperature will rise.

Meanwhile, the weather forecast has said that there may be rain or drizzle in two places of Khulna division including Faridpur region from Tuesday. However, in the next 24 hours from Wednesday morning, some places in Khulna, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and one or two places in Rajshahi, Barisal and Chittagong divisions may experience rain.

Apart from this, light to moderate fog may occur at some places and moderate to dense fog at some places from midnight to morning. The cold current in different districts of the country may ease from some places.

The weather forecast on temperature said that the night temperature may increase by one to two degree Celsius across the country on Tuesday and the day temperature may remain almost unchanged. Wednesday night temperatures may rise slightly and daytime temperatures may drop slightly.
