Dogs Caught Sleeping On Mom’s Bed Forget Important Clue—Their Deaf Sibling

A deaf dog was caught snoozing on her mom’s bed, completely unaware that her siblings had already scrambled away to avoid getting caught in the act.

Lulu (@chewie.leia.lulu) sprawled across her mom’s bed, as her fellow greyhound siblings, Chewie and Leia, managed to scamper off when they heard her approach.

“When you’re deaf and didn’t hear mum come home, so you didn’t get the chance to pretend like you didn’t sleep on the bed,” read the text overlaying the video, which garnered 483,616 likes and 5.2 million views on Instagram.

The video shows Lulu’s mom entering the room to find her mischievous pooches, who were all dressed in dinosaur costumes. Leia and Chewie were attempting to deceive their owner and stood in the doorway upon her arrival.

She then walks over to Lulu, who is still sound asleep, entirely unaware of the situation.

It’s only when her mom gently taps her back leg that she finally stirs, leaping off the bed to join her siblings, as if trying to catch up with the escapade she missed.

“Lulu, sneaky,” her mom says with a smile, patting the still-drowsy greyhound on the head.

The imprints of Chewie and Leia’s bodies were clearly visible on the bed, evidence of their forbidden lounging.

This touching moment has prompted an outpouring of love and support for Lulu.

“Well technically, she didn’t hear you say she couldn’t,” quipped one viewer, while another added: “The clear imprint of one of the other dogs left on the bed is sending me.”

One user joked: “As her lawyer, she did nothing wrong. This case will be thrown out of court,” while another declared: “This is sibling betrayal of the highest order.”

One user said: “The cutest! My deaf guy snoozes so hard. I taught one of my other dogs to go ‘find him’ and wake him up for me.”
