Bail of doctor couple, 2 lakh rupees

Brahmanbaria doctor couple arrested on charges of domestic help torture. KM Abdullah Al Noman and Dr. The court granted bail to Kimia Sadat Tofa. Judge Ashraful Islam of Brahmanbaria Judicial Magistrate Court granted them bail at around 3 pm on Sunday (03 May 2026). Ayesha's father, Md Rakib Mia, has signed as guarantor. He said that the matter was settled for 2 lakh rupees through a person named Sohag.

Earlier, on April 30, the Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station arrested the doctor couple for torturing a maid named Ayesha Akhtar (10). Later they were sent to jail through the court. It is known that about 9 months ago, Ayesha came to work at the couple's house in North Mourail area of ​​Brahmanbaria city. Allegedly, the family members could not contact him for the last three months. Recently, the doctor couple told Ayesha's family that she ran away from home.

Ayesha's family filed a general diary (GD) in Sadar police station on April 26 in this incident. Following this, the police conducted a raid on the morning of April 29 and rescued Ayesha from a nearby house and handed her over to her family.
